1.What is HomeSpace?
HomeSpace is a real estate search engine developed by The Real Group to serve the Singapore market. Think of it as an online marketplace where we connect buyers and sellers together.
2.Are there homes for rent on HomeSpace?
No. HomeSpace caters only to homes for sale. We believe that the profile of buyers and renters differ significantly and hence are making all effort to cater to each group's wants and needs distinctly. To find (and list) homes for rent, visit www.rentspace.sg.
3.Why is HomeSpace better than other real estate search alternatives?
HomeSpace recognizes the inherent problem of newspaper classified ads and other real estate search engines online. While most of these alternatives focus on making money for themselves (hence the high advertising rates in the newspaper classifieds and numerous irrelevant and annoying advertisements on other real estate search websites), HomeSpace focuses on making life easier for you, the buyer or seller of real estate. 4.How do I use HomeSpace to find a home?
The best part is that we made HomeSpace so user-friendly and intuitive that anyone, even those who are not entirely familiar with using the Internet can find a home easily on our website. Just enter a locational input (e.g. zip code, address, building name etc.) in the search field, select one the suggestions that are presented in the drop-down box and start exploring! You can also click on the map's home icons to see the list of amenities within the vicinity. When you find what you are interested in, contact the seller by sending him or her a query SMS.
5.How long does it usually take for sellers to respond to my query SMS?
Sellers usually respond to buyer queries within 24 hours. Everytime you send a lead, you will also receive an SMS with the seller's contact number so that you can call the seller directly, if they do not respond.
6.How comprehensive are the real estate listings on HomeSpace?
HomeSpace maintains and showcases the largest database of real estate listings in Singapore. We are also continually investing top dollar in our marketing efforts to ensure that HomeSpace becomes and stays a household name. 1.What can HomeSpace offer me as a seller?
HomeSpace offers you the peace of mind to list your homes quickly and easily via SMS on a superior platform while the system works to deliver qualified leads directly to you on your mobile phone via the same medium. (Of course you can still list directly on the website.) Unlike other real estate search engine websites, you don't have to keep returning to the website to manage or view your listings (you will only need to do so to post new listings). In other words, just post them once, and we'll do the rest!
2.How do I know that listing on HomeSpace will increase my home's viewership?
HomeSpace utilizes the power of the Internet to reach out to the masses. Our research has shown that more and more buyers are looking to the Internet as a search option when looking for real estate to invest in. As it is already, the number of visitors to HomeSpace has been growing exponentially since our launch. Just click here to get registered in less than 10 seconds! This has got to be the fastest and easiest registration process you have ever encountered. In fact, you might not even feel you're registering for anything!
4.How do I list a home on HomeSpace?
Listing a home on HomeSpace is as easy as Z–A–P (Zip code – floor Area – Price). Unlike other real estate search engine websites that require you to manually input all the home details (e.g. address, zip code, amenities, condominium facilities etc.), HomeSpace automates this entire process for you using the ZAP information you provided. Yes, it's that easy.

Note that for a listing to be successfully uploaded on HomeSpace, all we actually really need is the home's zip code; a unique geographical code that our SmartPins™ technology will use to retrieve and display all the locational details associated with the home. We do however want to promote the culture of sellers providing ZAP because the fact is, the more information buyers know, the more qualified they are as leads when they contact you.

You can list either via SMS or directly on the HomeSpace website. Listing via SMS allows you to remain as mobile as you are while listing directly on the website allows you to put up photos and key in additional information such as the number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
5.How much will it cost me to benefit from your services?
Haven't you heard? HomeSpace is a completely FREE service!
6.How soon should I respond to a buyer's query SMS?
You should respond as soon as possible. Make it a habit to catch buyers at the point in time when their interest level is still high and your property is still on their mind.
7.What is this "Quality Score" meter on each of my listings about?
Our goal is to provide you with qualified leads that would hopefully result in you closing more deals. However, for a prospective buyer to be a "qualified lead", they must first be educated with as much information on your property as possible before hand, so that they don't end up contacting you and wasting your time asking questions that you could have otherwise provided on the website. In fact, many buyers who are not given enough details the first time round don't even bother contacting the seller to find out more. Why? Because there are TOO MANY similar listings out there that provide too few and skimpy details. None of them stand out.

Excite your prospective buyers by putting up as much information as you can. Pictures, number of bedrooms and bathrooms and price range are the pieces of information we can't generate on your behalf but you can.
8.Why is there a need to keep validating my mobile phone number every time I add
a listing?
We want to ensure that property listings uploaded on HomeSpace are genuine listings from genuine sellers, not "bogus" or "fake" listings from people who have nothing else better to do but spam our system. Mobile phone validation literally reduces the spamming by 99.99%.

An easier approach to avoid this hassle is to simply sign up for an account with us. You will only need to validate your mobile phone once (during sign up), after which, just log into your account and start adding listings or contacting other sellers like how you normally would, but this time, without the need to validate your mobile phone number anymore.
9.How many listings can I put up?
There is no limit to how many listings you can put up! However, to ensure that listings on HomeSpace are kept up-to-date, each listing you post expires after 30 days. After which, you can repost the listing if the home has not yet been sold.
